Often, a period of confusion preceeds a period of sadness or depression.

But, it is through such darker periods that we can find a new light and resolve that which caused the confusion.

We need not linger in torment and a downward trajectory.

This piece points to some of my personal struggles with depression and mental illness in general.

It is unfortunate that we continue to stigmatize those humans who are different.
