Brainwashing is a term that refers to psychological manipulation through propaganda, torture, or indoctrination into a particular educational or national institution.

Brainwashing can be subtle and unnoticable, as in the case of public school education or religious education. Or, brainwashing can be direct and horrible, as in the case of waterboarding, torture by position, fear, loud music, electrocution, cutting, mutilating, etc.

You will believe anything and say anything to gain freedom from pain. In a religious environment (ie, cult environment) one will believe anything because one wants acceptance in the social community.

Brainwashing is a form of education, one form that slowly erodes the truth and the humanity from the interaction. Loudspeakers can brainwash people.

Military or religious chants such as “Blood, Blood, Blood, makes the Green Grass Grow” (a chant in U.S. Military boot camp) are forms of indoctrinating individuals into violence. Dehumanization of the other is necessary for any force to be prepared to kill indiscriminantly.

Arabs and Jews in the area of Israel and Palestine have been taught that neither side is full of human beings; neither side contains beings worthy of mercy and compassion is the message from both sides.

But, not everyone believes this lie. Many in the U.S. Military have been taught that “Hajis” or “Towel-heads” are not human, so, therefore, can be murdered at will like cattle being slaughtered. White supremacists think people of other races are not quite human as did the Nazi's, Italians, and Japanese teach their people about nearby races and cultures in WWII.

If we started thinking of all humans as intrinsically valuable, as we should, then wars would never happen. I do believe, firmly, that all human beings are equal in suffering and in their innate right to exist free of oppression from other humans. Empires are built on slavery and murderous expansion into the territory of the lesser power.

Americans were taught, in order to kill, that the “Gooks” were sub-human. Throughout the world, anti-semitism seeks to demonize all Jews, though only a small fraction are, themselves, extremists and racists who seek Israeli ultra-exceptionalism and violent dominance. Extremist Muslims often believe that others in other religious, even other muslim sects, are beneath them to the point of deserving death.

Catholics in World War two were perfectly happy to turn a blind eye to the suffering of Jews as so many orthodox and nationalistic Jews are happy to turn a blind eye to the suffering of Arabs today. Anyone who thinks “their people” are the best or their country is somehow superior in an intrinsic sense are sick, brainwashed, and dehumanizing.

Zionists who deem their people above all others and think Arabs are sub-human are sick. Neocons are sick in that they promote industry and conquering above human life wherever possible. Nationalists everywhere, from those who wear the Union Jack in Britain, to those who drape themselves in the American flag and chant “My country right or wrong” here in America are sick.

They are sick with a disease of self-righteousness and arrogance against the true teachings of ethical understanding, profits and peaceful figures throughout history. I do not know if any of these figures, such as Jesus and Buddha, actually existed and it is not very important to me if they did or did not.

Teaching compassion and tolerance is critical for a society and world that is not self-destructive and chaotic. For centuries, the British have been taught and believed that they, above all cultures, are the only learned and civilized people.

They are helping the world by annexing lands and peoples to their north, south, across oceans and seas, and in Ireland. Nothing could be further from the truth. The British, American, and Israeli outlook is that other people and nations are there for the taking for wealth and “their own good”.

These nations, in their leadership, are completely without love of people or life. They are nihilistic power mongers who would as soon destroy the world to save their positions as drink a cup of tea. Empires, in the modern world where we have a foundation of ethical understanding and knowledge about the suffering of others, are disgusting.

The CIA's torture of innocent people from around the world is nothing short of evil and of the same grade as what all despotic tyrannys have engaged in throughout history. How someone can torture another human being, no matter what the situation, is beyond comprehension in my mind and those who have engaged in it should fall on the nearest sword or pull the trigger with a barrel between their teeth.

If you work at Guantanamo Bay, secret prisons in Iraq or in Afghanistan, or in Syria or Egypt, I certainly hope you get what is coming to you or quit your post.

How many of you brainwashed soldiers are following illegal orders? How many of you have traded your soul for a pile of money or out of fear of reprisal from your commanders? How many of you are still human? I don't know how much to blame anyone in particular because the deceivers and mind-manipulators are most to blame.

But when our military basically becomes a mercenary brigade for profiteering, we have entered a new realm beyond even the insanity of Vietnam. I was fooled too, for a while. But how long should it take to wake up?

So many innocent people aare suffering over lies and more lies. Sadaam Hussein tortured and gassed his own people and you, Mr. George W. Bush, presided over the explosive murder and poisoning of the lungs of tens of thousands of people in New York.

Bravo you sick fuck- we all know and you and your name are the crust under sunken whale shit at the bottom of the ocean. If you are related to these people, then run away and denounce them before you go down in history with them.

Nihilists, though, often do not think human life is more than an accident and a temporary organization by which they will not face consequences because the world is, at base, meaningless and human suffering, too, is meaningless.

Maybe they are right, but this is a grand metaphysical assumption based on nothing more than the arrogance of human minds.
