Blue-green or tiel or sea-foam is a color that is even more gentle than blue itself. It is the color of the most beautiful caribbean waters and shallow reefs. It is a color of life and of clarity.

Purity and pristine are some of the concepts that come to mind in the presence of this color that is not blue and not green but somewhere in between. This is the color of some precious and semi-precious stones called Spodumene which is also sometimes called Hiddenite.
