Brown is a color with many shades and it denotes different things depending on what is colored brown. As a skin tone, it can be a beautiful bronze or tan color if it is natural to the racial bearer. It can be a muddy color as it is essentially all of the colors mixed together and, in some cirucumstances, as in the diapers of toddlers, it can be rather off-putting.

Pudding, not putting, is brown and this is excellent. Chocolate ice-cream is brown and nothing could be more delicious. Brown is also the color of rot and decay in the plant world as well as in the world of things that go bad with time.

Chocolate milk and chocolate skin is beautiful, however, and given particular shades of bronze or light to dark browns, the color can be as beautiful as any when it is the natural complexion of a particular brown-shaded human being.
